Areas of Special Interest & Training
I am passionate about helping individuals with matters of self-acceptance and self-worth, with a particular focus on supporting those navigating healthy and pleasure-based sexuality, gender incongruence, dysphoria, and affirmation goals. Additionally, I have extensive training and experience working with clients who have experienced relational trauma, attachment wounds, domestic violence, intimate partner violence, and sexual violence.
My counseling approach integrates Mindfulness and Internal Family Systems (IFS) Theory, which emphasizes exploring and identifying different parts of ourselves to cultivate curiosity, compassion, and unconditional acceptance of our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
